EMAIL FAQ 024 - How do I Mark Email as Spam?

Through WebMail you can identify email as spam. Over time the mail server learns which emails to reject.

Refer to FAQ 022 for how to access WebMail.

When viewing an email press the  button to move the spam to the Junk E-Mail folder.

If the folder does not exist it will create it. 

By pressing the “Mark as Spam” button you are telling the server that this is Junk email and you don’t want to see it again.  

 

Be careful – don’t mark valid email as Spam! (see FAQ 0026 if you do)

Alternatively when viewing the Inbox you can select each item of mail that is spam

Select "Mark as Spam" from the drop down list.

 

Press the "Do Action" button,.
to send the email to the Junk E-mail folder.
