EMAIL FAQ 014 - How do I set up email for Eudora 6.5.2?
Select Next
.Press Next
Enter your name - in this case "John
Smith"
Press Next
Enter your email address - in this case "john@flexisoft.com"
Press Next
Enter your User Name - this is the same as your email address -
in this case "john@flexisoft.com"
Press Next
Enter your incoming Server - In this case "mail.flexisoft.com"
This can be mail.yourdomain.com
For example mail.newelva.com or mail.VantageResinSystems.com
Note the POP radio button should be selected.
Press Next
Eudora will correctly guess your outgoing server - in this case
mail.flexisoft.com
For example mail.newelva.com or mail.VantageResinSystems.com
Leave the Allow Authentication check box selected.
Press Next
It's that easy - All should now work.
Press Finish
Test the new email account
Select File | Check Mail or press the
button
You will be prompted for your password.
Test by sending an email to your self. After a minute or so the email should arrive in your mail box. This will prove mail can be both sent and received.
