EMAIL FAQ 001 - How do I set up email for Outlook Express?

The following outlines the necessary settings to set up email that has been provided by Flexisoft.

Microsoft Outlook Express

Step 1.

Select Accounts from the Tools drop down menu

Step 2.

Select the Mail tab

Step 3.

Select Add - Mail from the side buttons

Step 4.

Follow the wizard. Enter your name and press Next

 

Step 5.

Select "I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use".
Enter your email address and press Next

Step 6.

For both incoming mail (POP3) and Outgoing mail (SMTP) enter you domain name and press Next
Note - It may be necessary to enter the an alternative outgoing mail (SMTP) as provided by your service provider.

Step 7.

You should be provided with an account and password. Enter these and select "Remember password".  Then press Next

Step 8.

Your email should now be complete. Select Finish

Step 9.

Your email should now be added to the following display. Select Close

 

Now proceed to FAQ 003 to check your email settings
