How does our cart use secure transactions ?

When you select "Secure Check-out" our shopping cart makes use of a secure server to process your credit card details.  You will see in the Address the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) begins https://.  In order to perform this you must have a browser capable of secure transactions (see Browsers below)

In the case of Netscape a golden key is displayed  in the lower left corner of the status bar.  In the case of Internet Explorer a golden pad lock is displayed in the center of the status bar.  This signifies that the transaction is "now secure".

In order to support users who do not have a browser capable of secure transactions we offer the "Check-out" button.  But users should be aware that no encryption is performed on their data and as such the transaction in not secure.
